Platelet Rich Plasma

PRP

Platelet Rich Plasma, known as PRP, is a rejuventating treatment that can help with damaged, wrinkled, or sagging skin, as well as hair loss. PRP can be done as a stand alone treatment, or in conjunction with other treatments to enhance the results. Platelets are well known in medicine as our natural growth factors, which help with regeneration of tissues when we have an injury by initiating the natural wound healing cascade. They are used in dermatology and aesthetics to even skin tone and complexion, provide hydration, and to generate new collagen and skin cell production. PRP has been seen to have positive results on scarring, especially acne scarring.
PRP can also help with androgenic alopecia, by stimulating the cells, promoting new hair growth and thickness, when used in conjunction with topical creams.
Results can take 3-6 weeks to appear, and can last over a year with appropriate maintenance. We recommend a minimum of 2 treatments, performed 3-6 weeks apart in order to see optimal results.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy

Harness your body's natural healing for rejuvenated skin

As we age, our skin’s ability to regenerate slows down. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy uses a concentrated component of your own blood to support skin renewal. This process is designed to stimulate collagen production and encourage overall skin rejuvenation.

How Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy works

PRP therapy involves taking a small sample of your blood, which is then processed to separate the platelet-rich plasma. This plasma is carefully reintroduced to the skin using micro-needling or fine injections, supporting the skin’s natural functions.

  • Supporting skin texture and hydration

  • Enhancing overall skin vitality

  • Encouraging collagen production

  • Helping improve the appearance of dull or tired-looking skin

What to expect

Every treatment starts with a personalised consultation to determine whether PRP therapy is suitable for you. As with all cosmetic treatments, individual results may vary.

  • A consultation is required to assess suitability.

  • As PRP uses your own plasma, the procedure is minimally processed and tailored to you.

  • There is little to no downtime, any redness or sensitivity typically resolves within a few days.

  • Best results may be achieved over multiple sessions, depending on individual factors.
